This Web page provides a partial inventory of the 11/20 Greenough collection, through photos and listing of items. It includes correspondence from Greenough in 2008 about the developing exhibit and Web page descriptions of the collection. The 11/20 inventory is referenced on the Web page representing that collection. This Web page was last updated Aug 15 2008.
These are photos of the donated items, in place at MARCH/Infoage, taken by Herb Johnson.

Mr. Greenough corresponded with me in 2008 and provided the following materials, which will be given to MARCH. - Herb Johnson
Letter, photos, CD-ROM sent Feb 19 2008. Leighton provides materials on the history of the 11/20 and of work related to its use. Included is a three-page document "Digital Equipment Corporation PDP11-20 used in the FOSDIC system" dated Feb 5 2008 by M Leighton Greenough. Much of this document was incorporated into the Web pages and the Exhibit posters. He provides 8 X 11 black and white photos of the Postal Scanner, a graphic "Basic operating principle of FOSDIC", a photo of the 11/20 in the Postal Scanner, and of two operators of the scanner in 1970. The CD-ROM contains TIF files of the photos, and DOC files of the documents.
Letter of May 19th 2008. Leighton describes his current relationship with the Census Bureau on the history of FOSDIC activity, and describes the specific role of the donated 11/20. There are two pages of suggested changes in my Web descriptions of FOSDIC and its history. These were incorporated into the Web pages and the Exhibit posters.
